My muscal background is 1/4 school and 3/4 personal learning. I have been playing since the age of 14, while being influenced by many different artist and styles through the years, but my primary love is rock. I love the rawness and pure emotion that it can evoke from a person. When it comes to playing on stage, I most definately have to have music with an some sort of energy to it. As for my musical style, it is a mixture of using tones and texturing over simple and sometimes synchopated rythms. Instruments played: Guitar/Vocals/bass/Drums/Keys. Functions performed: Producer/Composer/Writer/Session Player/ My main instrument is Lead/ Guitar, I have also produced, and written for various artist/ film and television, as well I also do session work. Some of my major influences in no particular order would be the following; Radiohead(J Greenwood), Led Zepplin (J Page), Refused, Mars Volta, Nirvana, AIC, Sparta, Muse, STP, Deftones (M Carpenter), Darren from System Of A Down, Bowie (any of his guitarist), NIN (Reznor, R Fink, D Lohner), ATDI, U2, SDRE, Rolling Stones, QOTSA, Filter, Janes Addiction, Foo Fighters, Who, Aerosmith (Toys in the Attic/Rocks/Get Your Wings), Prince, Failure, Year Of The Rabbit, Helmet, Faith No More, Rage Against The Machine, Sevendust, Soundgarden, Michael Schenker, J Sykes, Randy Rhodes, the list is endless. I incorporate my playing to what is best for the song to make it non steril and keep the audiences ear glued to it. My belief is you write for the song and not for yourself, ""I'll take a killer song over a jack-off solo anyday"", so that's a quick summary about myself hope you enjoy what you hear.
