SHATNER is a British guitar based pop band with its roots in late 70s punk-pop, but comparisons have been drawn to a huge range of bands from the 60s to the present day. Expect layered harmonies, catchy three minute tunes, intelligent lyrics and black humour. They are from Leeds, home of the internationally successful Kaiser Chiefs, and there are some similarities.

Their 2005 debut album 'Energise' a brought an uninterrupted stream of rave reviews. The band's long-awaited second album THIRTEEN O'CLOCK has just been released to even wider acclaim. It was produced by Will Jackson, whose credits include the Pigeon Detectives' number 3 UK hit album.

Hop On Pop	9/8/2008 10:59:21 AM Hey all! Just added "It's Time" to my station. Great stuff you got here, that reminds me a bit of XTC crossed with The Clean. Yeah, a bit of an 80's feel, but that's okay with me since I came of age in the 80's. Anyway... keep it up. I'm looking forward to hearing more from y'all.
