M$NEY
In a world full of aspiring singers, dancers, and entertainers it can be tough to be a visionary who looks beyond the definitions, the labels, and expectations of the industry. While some are continually looking to find the right formula, M$NEY is busy creating her own. Now this rising star is ready to share her formula with the world. With a unique style all her own, captivating voice, which is said to be one of the most original of our generation, M$NEY is ready to give us an example of what the future of music will be. Having already caught the ear of famed producer/ songwriter Timbaland, who is one of the world’s biggest producers today, and famed producer Walter Millsap, it is obvious that M$NEY is well on her way to becoming a huge star.

A native of California, M$NEY grew up in the small suburb of Rancho Cucamonga. Influenced by a musical family with both her father and older sister wanting to pursue careers in music, she knew early on that entertaining was her passion. Absorbing the sounds of a wide array of genres from Rock to R&B, to Jazz, Gospel, and Punk, M$NEY fell in love with the art of making music. One of her biggest influences however, is Prince. She first started to study him at around age 15 and became a connoisseur of his work. She then decided that is was time to follow her own dreams of becoming an entertainer.

While studying dance at Millennium Dance Complex in Los Angeles, M$NEY was discovered by choreographer Dave Scott (You Got Served, Stomp the Yard, Step up 2) and his partner Creative coordinator Keisha Gamble. Impressed by her talent, and limitless potential they decided to take the young performer under their wing for development. Scott and Gamble later introduced M$NEY to producer Walter Millsap who’s discography includes names like Beyonce, Alicia Keys, Usher, and Brandy to name a few. Mr. Millsap was blown away by M$NEYS’ vocal ability and style. It was almost immediate that the two teamed up to create an awesome sound that was fresh, different, and definitely unique to her personality. Recording tons of tracks together including “Fantasy” which can be seen on Timbaland’s latest project Shockvalue. Timbaland first heard of M$NEY when after just two weeks of recording Walter took a scheduled meeting with him, that resulted in Timbaland flying M$NEY to meet him in the studio the next day. Electrified by her style, voice, and overall vibe, Tim was solid in his decision to feature her on his upcoming Shockvalue record, which has since become one of the years’ biggest platinum selling albums.

As if this fairytale could not get any better, after the success of Shockvalue, the buzz on M$NEY soon flooded the internet. Catching the eye of several major labels, it seemed as if a world of opportunities were beginning to open up for the young artist. Finally a call that would change her life came from legendary record executive and CEO of BLACKGROUND RECORDS, Mr. Barry Hankerson, who’s lead the careers of many including R.Kelly, Jo Jo, and the late Aaliyah (also signed to Blackground). After taking a meeting with M$NEY he offered her a deal on the spot, and the rest is the start of history.

M$NEY IS A TRUE ARTIST. Her quest to master the art of entertainment, create her on mold, and break down stereotypes, she promises to give us the FUTURE…
