Dveener may not have been a household name to fans of powerpop music in these few years. But the release of their first demo cd called ""Terus Menunggu"", contains songs like There's No One, Terus Menunggu and It Starts Again brought them towards ""re-introducing"" to the public. Hopefully!!!


The original member, ZuL (Boneless Mahoney) was the one who created ""dveener"" and the leader of the band. He was born in a moderate family and began with basic knowledge on music and definitely not a proper music notation. He tried to put himself being more creative and followed by his big influences such as ""Ozma, Weezer and Rooney"". He tried to compose a good melody with his own style in powerpop music flow.


On July, 18th 2006 he lost one of his good friend in a tragic car-crash. Due to this tragedy, the track called ""There's No One ""was dedicated to the late Shahril a.k.a Dugong (X-Boneless Mahoney). It was inspired him to write the song to remember his unforgettable - good friend. After the tragic nightmare and spending several months, the new guitarist (Wan) was later replaced with Zam. Then, as a new band formed (consisted of Zul, Wan, Zam & GG), they decided to record their own material. ""Being creative and original to own materials"" that's what their thinking of. In search of own identity they composed as much as we know and let the listeners out there be the judges. Few months later, dveener has advertised for keyboard player. Finally, they found Yantie who has played for her band ""Dolly The Sheep"" before. Eventually, she agreed to be part of dveener and become a keyboard sessionist.

We'd love to share our music with many more people throughout the world. Music has always been a big part of each of our lives and we will see this through till the end.""
