The Cutmen are a dirty little three piece combo from Ottawa, ON, Canada. The members include: Guitar and vocals -Jeff Tanguay (ex-TownCryers, Mercy Miners); Bass and vocals - Mike Carpenter (ex-Town Cryers, Rustbucket, Sawdogs); and Drums and hollars - Ian Cook (ex - Town Cryers, Rustbucket, Jr. Gone Wild).

Formed in late 2007, The Cutmen mark the reunion of three quarters of the late, lamented 80's Ottawa power pop band The Town Cryers. Picking up where they left off, the boys have begun getting material together for a new CD to be recorded this fall and scheduled for release in spring 2009.
