The original members of the group formed The Sons of Harmony in the summer of 1999 while in drug and alcohol rehabilitation in Baltimore, MD. Most of the current members are not the originals that formed the group with Delroy Smith and Wendell Muldrow the only two original members remaining.
They became known for their a' capella style singing among their peers, and consider themselves "old school" when it comes to their singing style which is evident on their debut album "Working On A Building"
They have had the privledge to performing on stage with The Gospel Keynotes, the Fantastic Violinaires and Lil David & The Bells of Joy to name a few.

They have been recognized by the Cambridge Honor Society, for their inspiring story of perseverance in the face of adversity and the vision for their ministry in the future.
In a decade, The Sons of Harmony have completely transformed their lives. Through their music, they hope that others may experience the same thing, which is why the heart of their ministry is in the healing, restoration and reconciliation of those whose lives have been shattered through drug addiction.
