KL5 dials it in: a sound that is at once both familiar and new, this Seattle-based threesome delivers a folk-funk-rock styling that has been dubbed ""powerful"", ""progressive"", ""heart-felt"" and ""fun"". Drawing on as many artists and styles as KL5 has fingers and toes, with an acoustic appeal and a heavy electrical charge, their music and their sound tells a story, creates a mood, or just rocks... KL5 understands: Rock & Roll should be fun.
KL5 is a musical journey started in 2003 by three mates who realized they enjoyed the music and company of one another more so than the other projects they'd been or were a part of. After several years of natural changes in the music and their lives, and with the addition of a new member in 2005 bringing drums and percussion to the sound, KL5's new album, ""Draw"", follows the steel line through the old territory and continues west toward the sun into a new sound.
Recent changes in the band promise an even newer sound, a new energy and power not yet seen from these chaps.
Brian Stork: Bass
