What happens when five seasoned players leave their established bands to come together and form their own project? What happens when three of those players are some of today's hottest songwriters? The result is Davinport. Brought together to write songs, Jimmy Thow, Jason Gordon and Jared Daniels soon realized that there was much more to their chemistry than they had originally thought. As the songs kept coming, and coming the need to play live intensified daily. With the infusion of Jeff Gordon and Charles Mandamin, they now had a band with a driving rhythm section and the rest of the package had been completed. Davinport has been preparing diligently for there first full length release "Creatures of Habit". What began as a songwriting project has quickly developed into one of THE most promising acts for 2009! Jeff and Jason's previous incarnation as Winnipeg based "Driver" created a huge buzz coast to coast and enjoyed loads of airplay over 3 singles released, the highlight being She Laughed At Me, which cracked the nat'll Top 40 in tandem with 2 videos on MUCH, not to mention tours with Theory of a Deadman, 3 Days Grace, Grady, Thornley, Default amongst others.
