"Grew up in Chester, Connecticut. Moved to Shanghai with my husband in August '08 - married since 1984. Tossed aside on April 7, 2009 for a 21-22 year old here in Shanghai, apparently I was the last to know - wtf?"
I apologize for that, it was written in the heat of the moment when I found out about the girlfriend and the Pipeline People page devoted to her. I suspect that a few people are curious about me by now and I will be filling in the blanks here. Not "having it out", just telling about my life in music, not as an artist but the wife of an artist.
Above all, I was a loving and devoted wife. As a friend, I’ve been a friend, a sounding board, chauffer, roadie, gofer, and a hostess and caterer for recording sessions and in everyday life. Most of the time the studio was in our home, wherever we happened to be living. This was the core of my life for nearly 25 years, most of my adult life - supporting musicians in every way imaginable since I was 26 years old, along with running a household and raising three children. I need to stop now, but will be adding more until I’ve finished.
(I believe that two comments that I added to a thread recently sparked a blog about a "wit and sarcasm contest", (and I don't mind it a bit! ;))
However, my life as I knew it since 1984 was blown to bits, here in Shanghai and here on the IAC before I even had an inkling and this is all very painful, wit aside.
Until next time, peace. |
