Originaly formed by ex-'Sad Davie' members Dave Novak (Guitar,Vocals) and Shaun Lewis (Drums), 'Sons of the City' formed in the late Summer of 2003 under the working name 'Tin Pie'. The duo successfully filled the Bass player role in late October with Akron, Ohio native Matt Fuller and began carving out a sound reminicent of the Classic Rock 'Power Trio's' of the 70's. The songs ranged from 'Big Fat Rockers' that gave a nod to bands like 'Grand Funk' and 'Led Zeppelin' to more melodic 'Brit Rock' influnced masterpieces.'Sons of the City' continue to perform (and record) as a trio and write the songs that make other bands want to go home a practice.
