Hey underground music places online! I, Patrick Lew, thank you everyone for your support and sympathy throughout the years. I think the new record is some of the best music I written ever. I think so, despite flaws.

I had another Patrick Lew's Band music page on Soundclick for about 4 years. It was the former music page for my former band Band of Asians from cram school. I figured, it had 260 tracks on MP3 of very useless sketches of music and crappy outtakes not worthy of publication on basically any music website.

I basically deleted my former page and profile for Patrick Lew's Band of 4 years due to the compacted sh*** and other things I did NOT want to look back on musically and personally. Such as bad music reviews from SC critics on the Reviews section and useless pile of quantity of recordings I've made since 1999. Now it's time to look forward and not look back.

In the mean time, enjoy the music. Love it or hate it, can't deny I have passion man. Currently, I am hoping to get a CD of my music sold at Rasputin Records in NorCal. They do help out underground musicians and artists to get a CD or tape of your work sold there, if they're interested. Let's see how it goes.

Your Audio 2 Riot and P. Lew. A Grunge musician who promotes his music via Internet on websites like this. I'm an underground rock star making this nonsense Punk Rock music in my bedroom.

<== All alumni had the privilege and honor for playing the music with me live and in the recording studio, we sent them off after leaving the BAND to greener pastures and future successes.

I am 24 years old and a native San Franciscan currently living in a small town called Antioch in Northern California, where Testament singer Chuck Billy is also from. My name's Patrick Lew, I am a primitive Hard Rock and Punk guitarist and singer-songwriter. My music currently comes from me as a solo guy, and me and my newly-found wife Faith Tanner's funny Hard Rock band called Your Audio 2 Riot. Faith's on Soundclick, but she rarely logs on here. So I do most of the musical stuff on her and my page.

Myself, I am Asian. Taiwanese to be exact. I been playing power chords on guitar and writing songs since I was 13, which was like. Um, the tail end of the 90's. When I started posting my own stuff online on my computer from my former bands, Silent Minister and Band of Asians since 2001. I became a solo musician mainly since I left the Band of Asians in mid-2008, and I began which I hated at first. Thankfully, the music critics from the press I had over the years in my music forced and made me determined and motivated to improve as a Guitar Hero and Songwriter. I am in college, going to Cal State East Bay. Almost done, and might be close to receiving my Bachelors Degree in Philosophy. But for one, shitty music or good music. This is my passion. Get used to it, brother!

But anyways. Enjoy my music. It's Patrick Lew's Band. And I did, go through a lot of BS in my life. But I survived it all within TEN years in the San Francisco music scene. And more fun is to come. Yup!

Buy my NEW album now! My music and work will be and is subject to copyright!

Why this name?
Well, Patrick Lew is my REAL NAME. The BAND refers to the music and art I created either as a solo artist or playing guitar in my former local Bay Area garage bands. But this however, focuses on mainly things I did on my own. And!

We decided to have a trendy bandname that a Metalcore or Screamo band would call themselves on their website and for their own music. But we are actually making fun of those bands as a satire because of their weird bandnames and MIXED KARMA over the society that won't appreciate us.

Do you play live?
I don't really play live shows, but I did however. Played my music to an audience onstage at some bars, obscure local nightclubs and high school events when I was younger and playing guitar, bass and singing in my former bands, Silent Minister and Band of Asians. Right here, in the local Northern California music scene and community. But nowadays, unless an opportunity for my own ART comes along. I mainly make music in my own bedroom using my guitars and other equipment for my enjoyment and the people who really, I mean really, appreciate underground Rock music. Or any kind. Whomever goes on my website, is bound to hear something they might like that I created.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Jeez, I wrote an essay about that topic for my Ethics and Philosophy course in college. Got an B- for writing a term paper on the strengths and weaknesses of music downloading.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I don't know. Because for one, I hate the music business. But I would give it a shot if someone does offer and give me the right recognition and opportunity to get heard and out there with my strange Hard Rock and Punk music I do make. But likely, no matter how many of my friends say I could soon make it to fame after 10 years doing this Rock And Roll stuff. A lot of the people still think, I am better off as and still is an amateur garage rock band musician. I'll get back to you once I do in fact, earn a record deal fo sho.

The music industry is basically a money hungry greed and shallow machine.

Band History:

www.PatrickLewsBand.com

Long detailed story and history. Not just the music, but I been through a lot of times of trouble and fun after all these years. But for one thing though, I been making music since I was 13 and got guitar lessons when I got my first Fender guitar and amp from the shop. I began my headbanger's journey as a musician and singer-songwriter when I was 15 years old in 2001, promoting my own music online. And playing guitar, bass and singing in my high school band with my friends Eddie, Shawn and Tommy. Since then, I am passionate about the music I create. And I will never, if something, people would force me to quit what I love doing. Because of that, I am motivated to get better at writing songs and playing guitar and sh*** like that! And I been in many projects pretty much!

Your influences?
I mostly listen to Hard Rock, Punk, Blues and Electronica. But I respect all kinds of music, except some of the contemporary American pop music on MTV and the radio like newer auto-tuned Hip Hop and Screamo/Metalcore bands. For years! I talked trash about Country music, but when I married my wife Faith Tanner. I grew to appreciate that kind of music actually.

Even...I listen to stuff I would make fun of as a kid. Like the New Age sounds of Yanni. Haha.

But my own music is strictly Hard Rock and Punk. There are electronic music elements sporadically but, it's what I grew up liking. 80's and early 90's Hard Rock bands like Motley Crue, GnR, Pearl Jam, Metallica, Van Halen, Mother Love Bone, Skid Row Tesla and! The later Punk music I grew up on, such as Green Day, Sex Pistols, The Clash, Dead Kennedy's and even. Some bands I liked in high school which were contemporary Pop Punk like blink 182 and Sum 41.

Favorite spot?
My favorite hang out is the Bay Area. Need I say more? Mostly fun places in the East Bay though. I had a lot of fun living in San Francisco until I turned 23, but the Bay Area or NorCal always was a musician's playground and social-networking for me.
