Looking for a musical artist that combines luscious melodies and heart-felt introspective lyrics with a genuine, crystal clear voice and a perceptive social consciousness? Look no further. Australian born, New York-based singer/songwriter Belle combines all these elements in a winning presentation that speaks directly and engagingly to her audience. Tap your toe or sit back and let the generous melodies wash over you or the poignant lyrics entrance you—it’s all there, exquisitely demonstrated on her successful debut CD release, Never Too Late. Since its release in August of 2011, Never Too Late has been selected by iTunes as a “New & Noteworthy” singer/songwriter CD and played on AOL’s CD Listening Party, while garnering much enthusiastic buzz from various other music industry quarters and ecstatic fans.
“There’s an inner purity and deeper meaning to this redemptive debut that elevates it beyond others in this mainstream genre”—John Smithies for The Epoch Times
Belle’s experience and reach is truly global. While in her twenties her recognition of human rights issues was seriously heightened when she courageously traveled to Beijing to peacefully demonstrate in Tiananmen Square against the persecution of Falun Gong, for which she was subsequently arrested and deported from China. Following that harrowing event she began writing songs to raise awareness of human rights issues and working with other similar-minded musicians in Australia. Born in Mittagong, Australia, a small country town, Belle studied music from a young age and began songwriting at age sixteen as a way of dealing with her own complex teen relationships. Eschewing the mindlessness of the vacuous pop of the moment for a much more thoughtful expression, Belle brings a fresh maturity to the folk-rock scene these days with her honest lyrics that resonate from her own life experience as a lover, mother, wife, activist and business owner/entrepreneur. She expresses the real emotions and experiences that frequently confront us all at certain times in our lives, as well as advocating socially responsible contemporary issues including human rights, the environment, substance abuse, and teenage issues with a laser-like focus and perceptive awareness.
Since moving to New York City in 2009 to further her musical career and increase her involvement in human rights projects, Belle has performed at “Million Minutes of Meditation” in Washington DC; Union Square, NYC; World Falun Dafa Day, May 2011; The National Underground, NYC; CNYJazz (part of the Music Industry Conference in Syracuse, NY); Stanhope House, NJ; and WTBQ Radio Live, among many other East Coast venues. She has signed with Florida-based indie label Ingenious Records and has collaborated with producer Adrian Morales-Demori of Heiga Audio Visual; Kevin Dippold (Smashing Pumpkins/Spirits in the Sky); acclaimed drummer Sterling Campbell (David Bowie, Duran-Duran, B52’s); and multi-Grammy winner Filipe Tichauer (Christina Aguilera, Daddy Yankee) to create her well-crafted and absorbing debut CD Never Too Late.
Belle hopes to inspire constructive change in the world through her music and aspires to encourage women of all ages to have a positive self-image of their own inner and outer beauty, empowering them with confidence to deal with their own challenges in life and love. Never Too Late is a powerful statement and at the same time an exciting preview of what this talented artist is capable of.

Welcome to IAC and to my hometown of New York City. Congratulations on all your musical and altruistic accomplishments. You are an inspiration to all of us who see music not only as entertainment but as enlightenment as well. My instrumental song, "Urban Symphony" is dedicated to NYC. I hope you'll check it out. I enjoyed your songs very much and hope to hear more soon.
