Rowenash 'Nash-I' Rose who sometimes goes by the moniker 'Danger the Producer' was drawn to music at an early age. It began out of curiosity as Nash-I recalls being amazed as a child when he listened to the radio and tv by the sounds and words he heard as they combined to create music. His first taste of the business was at a local talent show at his community barbeque He was only 10 years old yet he knew in that moment what he wanted to be when he grew up.
During the years that followed Nash-I continued developing his skills. He started out as a rapper but was convinced to pursue Dancehall and Reggae after meeting one of his now Business Partners and fellow artiste Craig Hickey aka Ignius. While attending high school Nash-I was introduced to Dancehall artiste Mad Cobra who was his first established mentor in the industry. It was during this period that Nash-I got a firsthand glimpse into 'studio life' and music production. His writing skills were constantly being groomed as he did some 'ghost' writing for a few artistes. He later met Jamaica's mixtape pioneer and music producer Cassette Jones who worked with Nash-I encouraging him to tap into his other hidden talents.
By 2007 Nash-I and his business partner Ignius teamed up with Shieka Hunte aka Shiekie Warrantee, who they invited to come on board as their manager and investor. They decided to take their musical passion to higher heights and create a brand of Reggae music which would be a force to be reckoned with in the music industry. Warrantee Productions was formed and together they have been working together to make Reggae music fusing sounds of yesterday and today creating sounds for the future.
Now, Nash-I has evolved and grown tremendously as an artiste and his skills have expanded and include not only song writing but also, studio engineering, composition of beats, music production. Nash-I has been instrumental in providing services for the upcoming local talents in his community as he provides beats and does engineering for their tracks as well as he participates in hometown events as the music coordinator. Nash-I along with Warrantee Productions, Ignius and Shiekie Warrantee in early 2013 became clients and Business Partners of the Reggae Embassy who assists them by providing the guidance needed to have a successful and viable career.
As his talents and skills continue to grow and manifest Nash-I and his team will undoubtedly become one of the great icons in the Reggae Industry stamping and leaving their mark for generations to come.
