Delon White, singer, songwriter, producer has been singing and performing since age 9.
Growing up in Boston, MA he watched other singers and performers and also learned a few things from one the TAVARES brothers.
First he was more into Break Dancing and getting into the beginnings of Hip-Hop culture but the singing bug was still drawing him in. While Hip-Hop culture was what was going on him and his friends started singing along to such legends as Switch, EWF, Force-MD's, Jacksons, DeBarge and started performing in talent shows at their church and tried to create their own music.
Later Delon joined a local vocal and dance group called Flayre later to be called Step II. They performed at the famous Strand Theatre in Boston and other stages earning them a recording contract with a local label. Later, Delon joined up with another group called Raw Vibez where they worked with producer Ric Poulin and Bristol Studios. They recorded a song called Take Me Away for a compilation tape under Mona Lisa Records. The group performed on several stages in the New England area and on local cable tv. During a hiatus from performing he sang on the song Angel on a local Boston Hip-Hop group Blezzed Dez album.
Years later Delon and his family moved to Houston, TX where he now resides. He officially started off his solo endeavors singing in church. Along the way he linked up with Houston Hip-Hop artist Emphamous B who asked him to sing on some of the hooks he wrote for his songs. Delon sang, performed on stage and is in several videos with Emphamous B and gained some fans. He also met several music people through social networks who really liked his vocal delivery and was able to get some internet radio play on several stations. He also sang lead with the St. Luke's Choir at various events and on live tv FOX 26 news.
This his first full album is full of his raw vocal energy and brings it back to when Soul and R&B was the highlight of the day. He along with producers Big Daddy Cee, Seasky and Unkle Funk create a sonic backdrop that will please the older generation as well as some new younger fans of real Soul music.
