Damon is an American artist born in Palmeston north, New Zealand. His music is influenced by Neil Young, John Lennon, The Eagles, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Janes Addiction and everything in between. Silent Alarm was Damon’s first full length studio album. The twelve songs on Silent Alarm were recorded in Nashville at Pineway Studios and Damon’s recording studio. The album was produced and mixed by David Calvin Johnson and Damon Barnett, and mastered by Jim Demain (Josh Rouse, Michael McDonald, Tony Bennett, Jimmy Buffett, John Hiatt) at Yes Mastering.
