BIOGRAPHY
"That which you give to the world you shall receive back by three..." - the threefold theory...
**************************************************************
The bands very name implies its philosophy. Whether it is good or bad, a person will receive what they give by three.
But what began as three friends uniting against the current climate in the music scene to write and perform music from the heart has taken on a life of its own.
With the success of the bands debut album loveHATElive (engineered and produced by Aaron Fisher of 101 Productions, whose recent credits include Prosthetic Records recording artists Byzantine), Threefold Theory is connecting with fans through its cathartic music.
While music can be an escape, it can also be a release. This is the approach that Threefold Theory employs in its songwriting, and this style is evident in loveHATElive. The CD was independently released on July 8, 2005 through distribution partners CD Baby and Tower Records, and the initial pressing has sold out. The CD, including individual tracks, are now available through all major digital distribution services, including iTUnes, as well as hard copies through CD Baby, Yahoo!Music and Best Buy.com.
Whether its the driving, hard hitting The Letting Go or the pop-infused anti-love song Goodbye, Miss Beautiful, Threefold Theory songs pull on the common threads that bind us all, and are themselves bound by sing-song choruses and distinct melodies.
Threefold Theory has built a regional fan base through constant live performances, and has gained both national and international fans through the use of creative Internet marketing. The band has also garnered recognition from local radio stations by receiving air play during primetime hours and can now be heard on seven radio stations throughout the East and Midwest.
Threefold Theory has had the honor of supporting national acts Seether, Crossfade, Cold, Dark New Day, Smile Empty Soul, Huck Johns and Revelation Theory. Threefold Theory was featured on the cover of WV's Vibe Entertainment Guide in October 2005 and was awarded Track of the Day by Garageband Records for the songs The Letting Go and Tonight.
What began as a way for three friends to say something positive and meaningful has paid off in dividends. As the band continues to see success, Threefold Theory will continue to be guided by its founding principles, holding tight to the common threads that speak so loudly to its fans.
