Growing up in the Maitland area Wesley discovered his love for music listening to everything and anything but it wasn't until the age of 13 that he began to first flex his musical muscles. Picking up a pair of drumsticks and playing for the first time at school in his music class, he realized it came naturally. So he played in and out of a few young garage bands until he picked up a guitar at the age of 16. Aside from a few of the basic chords and ideas taught to him by his father Lennie Edgerton, he taught himself everything he knows now through reading guitar books and picking up chords and tabs to play songs from the internet.
Once he hit the age of 18 he met a group of people who convinced him to sing some karaoke at a bar, hesitant and shy at first he finally got up and gave it a crack, the feeling of singing combined with the overall response of people gave him the confidence he needed to start singing for real. So with the help of his good old self taught method and a bunch of reading material on exercises and ideas to become a better singer he finally decided to start playing music as a solo artist and from there he has never looked back. Now writing original music and performing covers around Newcastle and the Central Coast this Australian musician has made it his ultimate goal to share his music with Australia and the world.
