I'm a London-based solo artist, multi-instrumentalist and lead singer of the quirky all-girl folk trio Scarlet Kite. I make music with a retro blues-folk edge, soulful vocals and my own, contemporary English twist. My songs are about fury, lust, disintegration, fear, hope, beauty, passion and more. I write a lot of poetry and the women writers' group I run is an important weapon in my lyrical arsenal.

Before I found my sound, my most interesting regular gigs were singing waitress, cage dancer and environmental analyst, but for me, nothing beats playing live on stage, and I am really enjoying playing festivals in the London area this summer. I'm also really excited about my forthcoming EP debut.
