Story
Brothers born in Harvey, IL and raised in Memphis, TN. J.D. is the oldest and he moved back out to Illinois in 2007, to pursue the two's music career. O.L. remained in Memphis, TN to promote and distribute the duo's tracks out there. They had a decent childhood with it's ups and downs of moving from house to house but they learned a lot. Between 2004 and 2005 they began recording they have recorded over a hundred songs to date.

Style
J.D. & O.L. have been told many times that they don't sound like anyone, even in their older songs. O.L has a slow paced but very smooth flow of delivery, and he hardly takes breaths. He's been told he's similar to The Notorious B.I.G, Rick Ross, and a 2pac feel. O.L's more of the bad boy of the two J.D. on the other hand has a slow paced rap style also, but early in their rap career was told he isn't built for Hip Hop and couldn't stay on beat so most people wasn't feeling J.D's approach in the beginning. That motivated him and made him improve to a level that not many that rap can reach and he changed a lot of people's minds. J.D's been told he's similar to a wide range of artist like Common, Eminem, GZA, and The Notorious B.I.G. just to name a few. J.D. also wears a pen in his ear and has since 2003.

Beefs
Around 2009 or 2010 whenever myspace was ending J.D. & O.L. had more than one diss song made towards them out of no where from people they don't know and have never met. Knowing this is nothing more then hate J.D. & O.L. still as emcees responded to these tracks. Only 1 diss song was made in response called ""Flowerz"". J.D. & O.L. will battle anybody who wants to challenge them, we are accepting all challengers.

Collabos
J.D. & O.L. have worked with Preci$e who is a skilled Hip Hop artist and member of Okizoo, KL who is a talented R&B artist from Memphis, TN who they have done a few songs with but more are on the way and J.D. has also worked with a talented poet named Starr. They have also worked with other artist like Ray Capone, TWood and Doubs C.
