Simon Meola – The Liquid Eclectic are a band based on the Gold Coast, QLD Australia. As the title suggests, their music is eclectic with varying styles ranging from alternative rock, blues, hard rock, acoustic instrumental and roots.
Their debut album ‘The Purple Pill’ has been unleashed on the world. With unique mastering by Jeff Byrd of JBM Ent, they have entered in to a new and exciting field of sound.


Simon (guitar/vocals) has been a full time musician for the past 12 years, playing somewhere between 2000 and 3000 live shows. All songs on their debut album were written and arranged by Simon. They also have accomplished musicians: Jaime Bosomworth on piano, Cam Roydhouse on drums, and Phil Ryan on bass.

The Purple Pill was born of an idea to create a concept album, something unique and different with no particular style or genre that could be pinned down and labeled.
