Sophia is a singer/songwriter and musician. She started at the age of two singing and at the age of five, she began taking vocal lessons and progressed rapidly. While she was six she moved to a small town in North Carolina, as we searched for a good vocal instructor. Unfortunately, she could not find one. Sophia did not give up. She practiced what she learned and progressed even further as time went on.

At age 10, she moved to Boston and found Bristol studios. There, she went back into vocal lessons and also took artistry development classes and a performance workshop. During this time she was invited to record a Christmas song for a holiday album called “Boston Kids Rock in the Holidays”. The song she recorded is a remix of “Mary Did You Know”. It was released on iTunes, Amazon and Emusic.com in early December 2012 and she performed in a couple of local shows around Boston.

On her eleventh birthday, Sophia recorded a remix of yeah 3x and a video with her friends during her birthday party at Bristol studios. At age eleven she was contacted by Scott Goldberg an internet radio host at Jamcity America. He asked for an mp3, so he can play on his radio show for unsigned artists. Her song was played and she had an interview before and after the song. Around the same time Bristol studios invited Sophia back for invitation only Performance workshop 2. In March of 2013 Sophia finished writing her first original song and recorded it in April 2013. Sophia participated in a tribute to the Boston marathon bombing "Boston Reflects" by Bristol Studios.

On July 4th 2013 Sophia's song, “Bad Boy”, made the Top 44 on internet radio. July 14 2013 Bad Boy was announced as the # 1 requested song of all time on internet radio. September 3, 2013 the official Bad Boy video was released and it was announced that Sophia's Bad Boy song was still the # 1 most requested. She recorded a second single and third single. Since then, Sophia continued to write songs, performs, and enjoys playing guitar.

Sophia is only 14, but she is already a star thanks to her extraordinary music gifts and her youthful eagerness to prove herself to the world. Her hard work gave results and now she is viewed by music experts as an emerging artist with her own unique style and sound. Her album, Day Dreaming, is gaining popularity in iTunes. Her natural knack for different musical instruments was noticed in her early ages. Music critics compare her performances with Taylor Swift, Demi Lovato, and Jennifer Hudson. She is young, ambitious, hard working and extremely talented – all these qualities shoot her right to the top. For only nine months work with Jessica Drake Mosher, she confirms that Sophia is already an artist that sets apart from other young artists with her own vision. She started to record adding specific perspective on feel and sounds, and even adding her own rhymes and notes into the composition. Sophia is different from others with the fact that she does not copy anyone else… she is just herself – unique, brave and lively.

Although young, her life experiences helped her to make her first album with a full spectrum of emotions that young people go through. The feelings that her songs provoke will stick in the listener’s head for days with their meaningfulness and innocence. She is only at the beginning of her career, so there is much more to come from this promising 14-year old emerging talent being noticed by many music experts, who believe she has a great future in the music industry.
