I was brought up in many different types of music, and none could really characterize the certain direction I wanted to go. After 6 years of playing hardcore/alternative rock music, I wanted to shoot for the goal I had been trying to achieve all that time. R&B and the 80s era captivated me the most. I set that as the basis and built from there.
