Jakob Dahn is a singer, guitarist, songwriter and writer. He has been touring on autobahns, sleeping in Swedish music studios and releasing albums in Denmark and Germany with rock bands like “Nothing of this is Real” and “Skywriter” - writing songs to get under your skin and getting airplay on Danish and German national radio stations.

Jakob has been writing songs and recording demos in his studio for the last two years for his new solo-project, and with a helping hand from bass player, drummer and engineer Morten Dalhoff he recorded five songs in Morten’ s studio in the countryside to the sound of birds and bees.

The result is an EP in the genre of spiritual rock with a 60´s soul-vibe, catchy riffs and song lines supported with a choir recorded in a church. The songs and vocals might remind you of The National and Nick Cave in a brighter and more optimistic tone.

The whole project is a movement of love against the mantras of economic growth, egos, and isolation towards unity, more self-confidence, spirituality, and the wish of leaving a much better world for the next generations.

The single “Eyes set on the sun.” was be released April 6th this year and the EP “Sleeping Man” will be out later this spring on Wild Mood Records.

Concerts with a band of mixed genders will follow during the summer and autumn of 2018.
