Raised on a farm in Unadilla, NE (small town in southeast NE). Have lived in the Dallas metroplex since 1995.
Started singing around age 6; started playing guitar around age 12.
Have been involved in barbershop choruses called the Men of Note [1996-2003] and Big "D" [2001-2003] (part of S.P.E.B.S.Q.S.A., Inc.) and currently involved in a Doo Wop (50s/60s rock n roll) a capella quartet called 4 Ever Young [1997-today]. Sang the National Anthem at a Texas Rangers game in 1997 & 1998 as part of Timeless Melodies, a barbershop ensemble.
Wrote first song in 1989 ("Good Night, My Children"). Recorded From the Heart in a friend's studio in 2001. From the Heart is a 58 minute CD w/ a total of 23 tracks.
Some lyrics have been published as poems by The [Inter]National Library of Poetry (Carvings in Stone, 1996; The Nightfall of Diamonds, 1997; Best Poems of 1997, 1997; Best Poems of the 90s, 1997; Best Poems of 1998, 1998).
