My name is Anatoly Ice. I am from Moscow city which is in Russia. I am In music since 1995. Started working seriously around 1999 and create project called Icebound. Mainly making experimental drum'n'bass and breaks music. Also in 1999 started DJ career as ICE DJ. At the moment you can catch me in various Russian clubs from Moscow to Siberia, where I am playing my music as DJ and as live act, using decks, FXs, tricks... Icebound's music styles it's everything influenced by 70s funk, soul, disco. Also by dub & jazz related stuff.

What else? I am funky music addict. Collect vinyl records 45s, 12s, LPs. I love djing. Playing weekly in Moscow's Ultramarine cafe on my FUNK OFF! parties which is dedicated to funk, soul and jazz music (a little bit of reggae and dub presented too). Also I am participate in many gigs which is dedicated to breaks music, nu skool and old skool. If you are in Moscow city, You can catch me every last friday of every month in Ballantine's Bar club and in Gorod club on Breakston Fridays and Friday Breaks Sessions.

Some words about my music. It's 80% sampled tunes. I am sampling all kinds of stuff, from funk and jazz to rock, pop, tv shows, computer games and movies. When Iam producing my tunes, I am usualy using NI Kontakt sampler, my old Yamaha CS2X synthesizer and PC based Cubase SX and Ableton Live.
