FADING OUT SILENCE THIS IS OUR BIO!

Now, for the about us part!!! Josh and I could be more or less the forefathers of the band. We've been in a few others together, including Silhouettte, the precursor to Fading out Silence. We started out by putting vocals, guitar, and bass through a 3-way-input Peavey keyboard amp (which is now used by my sister), and a drum set. That was Silhouettte, and that was a while ago. Yet that humble beginnings atmosphere still brings a smile to our faces; its a type of subtle understanding that dedication will get you somewhere, just like adhering to the idea of perfection will change how you approach a piece of marble, or a blank canvas.

There was a time when it was just down to Josh, myself, and our old guitarist Jeremy; our bassist had moved away, and we were in a kind of limbo that is typically difficult to get out of. We wrote tons and tons of stuff, but with no way to play shows, it just ended up being pointless. We eventually incorporated my sister into the band, solely on the basis of mainly back-up vocals. She wasn't even a true keyboardist at the time; it was more of an on the side hobby for her. Yet now, she’s taking keyboarding and music theory in college, and she's playing some friggin' awesome, musically-bewitching stuff.

Then "D" entered the scene. And it was one of the most bizarre round-about ways of finding him too! Yet it’s truly amazing to think about how one person can mean the world of difference in a band. D took our Fading Out Silence from going,

"This is what we WANT to do for the rest of our lives..."

"This is what we ARE DOING for the rest of our lives..."

The love and passion for the art that’s music, which D brought to the band, took our writing and capability to a whole new level, a level that is still growing exponentially, to this day.

To all our fans now, and the ones to come, thank you so much for the amazing support, we love you dearly! And here’s to the future! May you be there with us!
