A new sound is coming to take your scene by storm. The Honour Recital is bringing true Rock and Roll back to the stage and they’re bringing it harder faster than ever before. This 5-piece group has been all over the country since 2003 with bands like Still Remains, Haste the Day, Emanuel, Spitalfield, Punchline, and many more. Their live show is a combination of enormous fist-pumping gang vocals, five-part harmonies, and a party that’s so intense you’ll be singing along before you even know the words. Mixing sounds from the 80’s to the present, The Honour Recital will take you back to a time when bands like Mötley Crüe, Skid Row, and Poison ruled the day.

Between the summers of 2002 and 2004, The Honour Recital toured two releases resulting in approximately 1,450 CD sales and a nationwide fan-base with a strong Midwestern core. In early 2005, the band started working on the production of a demo recorded in the previous December. At the same time, they began raising funds to move to California in May by playing 30 spot-dates in four months ending with a final show in their hometown of South Bend, IN holding over 1,200 paying fans. The move was designed to add to their already growing fan-base as well as give them a more accessible outlet to the music industry. Now living in California, the band has finished production and recorded their latest EP, Make You Move (released October 4th, 2005). The release was supported by a 32-day tour back to the Midwest. Along with the tour, promotion like a full-page ad in the November issue of Alternative Press Magazine and four days as a Featured Artist on the front page of PureVolume.com have helped to sell over 500 copies in the first month. During the first week of the release, the promotion helped the band to achieve the #1 unsigned artist spot on PureVolume.com while their sales topped out at #13 on SmartPunk.com.

The Honour Recital is currently scheduled to be featured in the “Hometown Heroes” section of Alternative Press Magazine’s 2005 Readers Poll after an overwhelming response from online voters. The band is booking a winter tour to start in January of ‘06 and is playing spot dates in southern California until then. This rock roll machine has plans of working hard well into the future with no end in sight. There’s no stopping them.
