"...the south London quartet make for an nerve-jangling collision of clever indie, experimental noodlings and jarring punk.
Lead track “Show It All” opens with chiming Johnny Marr chords. But just as you expect everything to gallop off like a new foal with all the giddy abandon of “Panic”, in comes a scathing vocal: “Every time you go with him, he slips the pill that makes, you feel real.” The tune scuttles along with the ramshackle charm of Babyshambles and the spitting weirdness of the Sugarcubes, but the addition of some subtle harmonies keep things on an interesting and sophisticated footing.
By contrast, B-side “The Untitled Dr Mezza” takes the slow train to hyperspace. The snidey cockney vocals are still there, but this time they’re accompanied by loose-limbed dub interspersed with mini guitar tornadoes. “I don’t wanna come down”, chime Tones and Flippy. As Pink Floyd go head-on with X-Ray Spex to scatter prettily toxic moondust, this makes for a formidable calling card."
