Sean Russell, a performing songwriter hailing from Pittsburgh, PA, is known for his unique style of soul and blues with an earthy singer/songwriter tone. Make no mistake,
he may commonly pay tribute to his influences such as SRV,Clapton and Wes Montgomery,
but Sean Russell has a unique "style for the times" approach to original music. Sean began as all players do working for many acts both
original and cover. After taking a job with a house band at a popular tourist attraction in Pittsburgh he quickly became disenchanted and decided to leave the music scene to concentrate on writing. In June of 2004 while visiting renowned Pittsburgh drummer Doug Deets in Philadelphia, Sean met performing/songwriter Jason Deutsch and soon
joined his band Original Low. With Jason's encouragement Sean became more comfortable
with his vocals resulting in Sean's first go as a
solo artist. Sean is currently working on new material for his debut EP. Stay tuned for more news and tour dates.

You've got a great voice Sean. There is a great earnest quality to it. In terms a recording, and i hope this is of some use to yu, but you did ask for comment, their is a distinct lack of bass with the track. It may just be the way my head works? I was originally a Bass player so I really notice it when it isn't there. It's a great song but feels, and it's only my opinion, but I'd love to hear it with bass. Maybe not even a bass guitar but some kind of 'Omph' down their, if you know what I mean.
Like I say, I hope this feedback is okay but I wouldn't want to bullshit you by just saying somehing nice. It's a great track, I love your voice, but feel the Bass is needed to give it some more presence.
Feel free to delete this when you've read it, mate
Take it easy and don't be a stranger : )
