That New Year’s Eve, his partner chickened out of an opening slot for the“Bad Habits blues band, but the show had to go on and it did. Now he was a solo act. 3/14/2022 6:55:26 PM Harpdog Brown was one of the founding fathers of the White Rock Blues Society. he passed away January 7, 2022 at the age of 59 Harpdog Brown was a Canadian vocalist and harmonica player who had been active in Canada's blues scene since 1982. His distinguished musical career was so honoured by the Maple Blues Awards in 2014, for harmonica player of the year, then again in 2015 and for the third time in a row in 2016.
