Jonathan Patrick Moore was born in 1956, in Devon, England where he spent the first 25 or so years of his life. In 1981 Jon re-located to the U.S. in order to pursue his music ministry. Following a number of years traveling throughout the continental U.S. and his home country, Jon settled down with his wife Allison and their five children. They presently live and work in Grenada, Mississippi where Jon pastors a small church and teaches adult education classes to inmates at a local jail and at a center in the community. Music is still his passion and he is always writing and singing songs, whether in church as worship or illustrative songs or in the community. He has released several albums with more scheduled for release. His style draws from the rich panoply of singer-songwriters over the last forty years and from his wide exposure to varied genres of music.

11/5/2016 12:15:31 PM Haven't been here for a while but I hope to rekindle some interest in music old and new....
12/6/2010 6:38:10 AM I have recently posted three new songs - including a seasonal release entitled "WINTERSONG" I hope you enjoy this year's musical Christmas Card.
2/27/2010 2:20:16 PM Well, as you can tell, I'm adding songs as I demo them. Some have turned out really well..others I would like to do over when I can find time. It's hard to take the time needed to get a CD ready sound when you are snatching a moment here and there, trying to avoid the sound of children running through the house!!! Just a few days ago...I got a call from Modesto, CA about "All Things Beautiful" and so the song is going to find fresh hearts and ears. That's the wonder of the internet!!!
8/8/2009 9:31:09 PM We're back recording....check out 2 new tracks for the Praise and Worship project recorded this past week. (Boy I wish I had more vacation time!!!)
6/18/2008 5:37:47 PM Glad you are checking out my page. I am about to do some new recording....it's been a while! the next project will be more of a worship-themed affair. A lot of the songs I've written for my church congregation will be featured. Look for new postings in late July or August 2008.
7/10/2007 1:07:24 PM I know it's been a year almost since I last posted...but I continue to work and play as well as reflect on the past. I am pleased at how the project stands up to the passage of time. It's about time to start the next one. This time the focus will be worship in all its aspects......
7/25/2006 3:44:42 PM I have just returned from the U.K. where "Recovered Memory" was received very well by its intended audience - my mom!! I will be adding some new tracks over the coming weeks and months, including a song written for my in-laws's wedding. (It's a long but beautiful story!) Also "The Beating of Drake's Drum" was song of the day on GarageBand.com a few weeks back.
