SHPX (Shadowphoenix) began training in classical and jazz piano, trumpet and theory from the time he was eight. Although still a composer and performer of acoustic music, his fascination for electronic composition is that it allows for the exploration of diverse sounds and blending of generes. Compositions can range from smooth acid jazz to industrial breakbeat. SHPX is 50% of the influence for Cognitive Dissidents.
