Assembled by Dominican composer/arranger Eddi González, 9-piece band Mamajuana includes Three singers, from Santiago de los Caballeros. Mamajuana (name of an exotic and aphrodisiac beverage) combines Afro-Caribbean and contemporary rhythms with romantic lyrics. Their self-titled debut album, released by Sony International, featured the hit singles ""Mamasota"" and ""Sin Un Beso Suyo.""
