What is Music 2 Work 2?
Music 2 Work 2 is instrumental background music to have playing while you work at something. Predominately piano driven, often accompanied by additional voices such as strings, bass, organ and electric piano, the pieces of music, or "sessions" are typically around 10 to 15 minutes in length and sometimes longer. The music is rhythmic and melodic in nature with clearly defined themes that are continuously developed throughout the session.

Why Music 2 Work 2?
There is plenty of evidence to suggest that human beings perform better when there is some kind of external stimulus, particularly stuff that you can hear. Like most things in life there is a balance between too little and too much stimulus. A loud road drill can drive you to distraction; a monotonous low volume tone can be just as irritating. A favorite song can have you thinking of the words when you need to be writing words of your own; a classical symphony can be too overwhelming in its complexity.
The intent of Music 2 Work 2 is to provide music that isn't too "In your face", that is enjoyable to listen to, that can fade into the background and provide a barrier against distraction and let you lose yourself in whatever it is you are doing.
Finally, if you remove the negative association of the word "work" and consider that if you want to get good at something, you're probably going to have to work at it – this music can be used just about anywhere in your life.
