This Boston girl has been influenced by many amazing and challenging experiences that has helped to shape Ms. Pino into broader perspectives. At an early age, she traveled the world, from Europe through out the Middle East and was exposed to a wide range of cross-cultural experiences. Opera, theatre, art, museums and music had become an integral part of her upbringing, due to her world travels. The music tree runs deep in her bloodline with many talented members of her family, from a mother who sings Opera, to her late grandfather, who played a mean violin with Arthur Fiedler of the Boston Pops. A graduate of Emerson College, she studied Musical Theatre and moved to New York City to pursue the stage. After years of personal challenges, she realized NYC was not where she wanted to be. Ms. Pino moved to Los Angeles in 1999 for a change of pace and started to follow her love of songwriting. Her influences include: Linda Ronstadt, Emmylou Harris, Rosanne Cash, Patti Griffin, Jonatha Brooke and Bernadette Peters from her musical theatre days. You can find her performing around Los Angeles at Kulak’s Woodshed and Genghis Cohen, pursuing the art of communication and finding joy in spreading the gift of music!
