In the late 1990's, Spike worked as an engineer at a studio where a famous industrial artist had recorded one of his albums a few years earlier. Working every night until 4 a.m. for months on end, then emerging onto South Beach, he witnessed all of his fellow vampires returning to their lairs. Thus, working in this environment inspired him to create his goth/industrial masterpieces. Fast-forward more than six years, and his task is near completion. It has been difficult, having had to move to Illinois to escape relentless vampire hunters. Watch for Threshold of Pain's debut soon. In the meantime, enjoy these advance tracks from the album.
