Steve Hill (aka Steve Territo) began playing in bands in his hometown of Chicago, Illinois in 1965. By 1973, blues and soul influenced rock had become his main musical love. He co- founded the original "J.B. Strut Band" in 1973, and later used that name, which he had come up with when the Chicago band was formed, a couple of times in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area of Texas where he re-located in 1974 . The 1982 -1988 version of "J.B. Strut" played throughout Texas and toured a seven state area, opening for acts such as Johnny Winter, Omar and the Howlers, Little Joe Blue, the Tailgators and others.

Hill took a 7 year sabbatical from music in 1988 after disbanding "Strut" due to personnel changes and creative differences within the band. In 1995, he began playing again and the Steve Hill Trio was formed. A self produced CD, released in 2004, containing 15 of Hill's original songs has garnered airplay on radio station KNON in the DFW area, as well as in such diverse places as France, Italy, England, Argentina, Canada, the Netherlands, Australia, and on various internet stations within the U.S.

Hill has been fortunate enough to be able to continue playing his brand of "rocking blues with garage band energy and spirit" with some of the DFW area's finest talent, including "Rockin" Ron Thompson, Michael J. Dohoney, Linda Waring, Steve Springer, Jas Stephens, Gonzy Trevino, Cadillac Johnson, Aram Doroff and others.
