Established in the year 2000, Eightfourseven began writing music and forming their allegiance. The members are Lance Jackman, Sean Bivins, Anthony Sarti, and Ben Conger. Located in Sacramento, California, in the midst of a musical melting pot, the group's steadfastness quickly won positive attention. Early on, the band began recording and soon independently released the first record entitled, "Everlasting", an EP produced by Shaun Lopez (www.shaunlopez.com , Far, the Revolution Smile).
After building a name in the hometown and surrounding cities, the band moved forward in promoting their sound through radio interviews, station air-play, a slot on the warped tour in 2002, and main support for such acts as : the Blood Brothers, Tinfed, the Revolution Smile, Aud Der Maur, Alien Ant Far, Die Trying, the Start, Ghostride, Will Haven and Dredge. Pic a stack of local Sacramento compilations and you'll certainly find eightfourseven with the track listings.
In February 2004, Eightfourseven unveiled their second recording, a full-length album entitled "the Allegiance", this time produced by John Baccigaluppo (www.tapeop.com). After a successful CD release show and sminent start to the year, the band set out on a new mission. In search of new places and new faces to share their music; small regional tours began. In March of 2004, the band traveled afar to play shows throughout Oregon, Washington and Southern California. Included on their tour were stops in Santa Barbara, Los Angeles and Hollywood, where currently eightofurseven has become a more permanent fixture. These ventures have shed new ligh on the band's perseverance and aim to succeed in the music industry.
Eightfourseven is excited to announce the release of their third independent EP entitled "Silent Raid". The record was engineered and produced by Eric Stenman (www.ericstenman.com), who has worked on projects such as: the Deftones, Will Haven, Saves the Day, Far, Tinfed, and Good Charlotte. The bands' current objective is to gain industry attention as well as fresh audiences across the globe from this release.
