Jonathan Bradford was born in Detroit, Michigan. Inspired by several African drummers, he acquired a polyrhythmic and eclectic drumming style from his musical influences which include: Stewart Copeland, Manu Katche, Omar Hakim, Bill Bruford, Vinnie Colaiuta, Chad Wackerman, and Terry Bozzio. In addition to playing drums, he sings and composes his own music using piano, guitar, bass, and misc. percussion in various styles. His musical influences include: Sting, Peter Gabriel, XTC, King Crimson, Phil Keaggy, Charles Mingus, Larry Coryell, Miles Davis and John McLaughlin.
