Jazz Pianist Marilynn Seits started playing professionally in the U of Illinois Jazz Band in the early 60's then moved to New York City and studied with Sir Roland Hanna, Jimmy Guiffre and Steve Reich. She has played in numerous big bands and small ensembles both in New York and South Florida where she also owned a 48 track recording studio. She has composed music for and released a dozen CDs on her own indie label CMR Records. Marilynn is joined on her jazz CDs by her two sons, Andy McAusland on guitar and vocals and Sean McAusland on 6 string fretless bass. Marilynn lives in New York City where she performs and works in her home studio.
