Autumn 2003, Stuart Daniels (singer, songwriter) and Winston Benson (singer, lyricist, guitarist) placed a note on the notice board at Bard College in upstate Annandale, NY. Derk Sprenger (drummer) tore down the note, stuffed it in his pocket and joined the band. Next to arrive was Stuart's friend Michael Jos (songwriter, lead guitarist) who had just left his bands Baby New Year and Big Wedge. After moving to NYC and deciding on the name 'Doctor Son', The five began recording sessions at the fledgling Clubhouse Studios working with Owner/Producer Paul Antonell (Fountains of Wayne, Natalie Merchant, George Clinton) and proceeding to film their debut video for the song ""The Last Picture Show"" (Directed by Dhaval Mehta of True Pictures). Doctor Son is currently embarked on a NYC Club tour which began at punk's birthplace CBGB's
