Fronted by dynamic vocalist Michelle Duff (who has already garnered numerous comparisons to such talented frontwomen as Exene Cerveneka of X and Brody Dale of the Distillers) and rounded out by guitar whiz Blake Metzler and rhythm section Ellis Keaton (bass) and Derek Berkowitz (percussion), the band’s professionalism and true punk rock ideals led to the recent signing.
We are very excited to welcome PBR to the Altercation family,” said the label. “We have always had a sincere appreciation for roots music, and this is a band that approaches the material with both respect and inspired energy. Anyone familiar with Altercation knows that we are dead serious about the music we release, and PBR definitely has the talent to live up to the name.”
