Jump: Press A are an Edinburgh based indie/pop/rock band who have been compared to the likes of Garbage, Muse and Placebo. Their songs are multi-layered mini-epics with dark, vengeful lyrics that strike hard against a background of quirky riffs and pop driven melodies. It leaves a strawberry aftertaste .
The band formed in much the same way as most bands - around a table at an open mic night. Impressed with each others' alcohol fueled musical efforts, they decided that, perhaps, together they could be more than a few drunks with instruments and a mild obsession with vocal harmony.
Jump: Press A are on the look out for a bassist to complete their line-up (see blog entry for more details). In the meantime, they hope to start playing acoustic gigs in the next month, and are currently busy recording new tunes, which will appear on the site as and when they are complete.
We like friends. So if you dig, we dig. Keep in touch.

Hey. I really like this song. Nice unusual driving melody and the title is brilliant.
