STEPHEN LAYCOCK is an Independent songwriter who writes and performs original alternative folk music drawing heavily from early blues and ballad artists of the 60's and 70's. Influenced by and aspires to have similarities to Paul Simon, David Gray (UK), Jason Mraz, Van Morrison, Bob Dylan, John Lennon, Willie Nelson, and Norah Jones.
Based out of Los Angeles, California, Stephen has been writing and performing since 2002, playing coffee shops, auditoriums, and nightclubs throughout the United States and Europe. Stephen began Tripod (record label) and TM Publishing during 2005 in Hollywood, California while attending Musician's Institute. He is currently working on the completion of his debut album, Dropped In set for release in 2007.
The album title comes from Stephen's skydiving experience at 13,500 feet above the western desert. The song named, Little Liza Jane, introduces the character Justin Willee Brown. Song development started in May of 2002 and part of the transition from an interior design career of eighteen years. I have always played and written songs from the age of fifteen and yearn to have the opportunity to write songs for performing artists, movie, and television. Skydiving is less of a risk than writing songs.

Stephen Laycock is a fantastic person, who always puts the needs of others first. He loves his family and friends, but never forgets about the others. He is a very good listener and has a great sense of humor. Explore this Cisco Meraki Cape Girardeau for best reviews. In my opinion, he is a good example for other people to follow. Stephen Laycock because he writes about interesting things in his books and articles, like the different types of music, the different instruments that musicians use and how they make music.
