Funkdawgs Release 'A DAWG'S LIFE' Delivers Mix of Virtual & Live Tracks
(September, 2006) - After five years as the world's first virtual jazz-funk band, the Funkdawgs celebrate their historic first face-to-face meeting this past spring with their third independent album release entitled A Dawg's Life.
For the musically creative and technically innovative Funkdawgs, the eclectic mix of A Dawg's Life is also breaking down traditional album content with its mix of virtual and live material. It's a tasty, satisfying combination of eight new virtual tracks created via Internet wav files; a live studio track performed during rehearsals at Nashville's Whitehouse Studio; and five live concert tracks from their historic first gig in April, 2006.
A Dawg's Life delivers an abundance of energy, originality and spicy jazz-funk that boldly continues the band's exploration of today's exciting world jazz scene.
