Ms. Melanin
Ms. Melani is a spoken word and R&B Soul fusion song. The music is mid tempo with flirtatious but inspirational lyrics to women who have been teased or put down because of their complexion and disappointed due to guys not knowing how to treat them. Poet Kamal Imani tells them to keep their heads up and put their fist up! This is a anthem for the ladies!
