Jamie is a singer songwriter based near Maidenhead, Berkshire.
He has toured the world as a solo artist and with his school themed band ‘Jamie & the first class’.
In 2005 Jamie’s band became the resident band at Hammersmith Palais for two years and have also enjoyed two summer seasons at Butlins.
The band is also successful in the Middle East where they tour once a year.
Jamie released his debut solo album on the PYE label in 2005 and two further albums with his band - 'Late for School' 2005 & 'Schools Out' 2006.
Jamie has appeared on the same bill as artists such as East 17,
Chesney Hawkes, M People, Betty Boo, Doctor and the Medics, Go West,
Timmy Mallet, Nick Kershaw, Jason Donovan, Toyah, T’pau, Musical Youth,
Rick Parfitt, Bad Manners and many more.
Charity is something Jamie is often involved in and played for Children in Need which was featured on BBC1 for his debut TV performance.
In May 2005 the boys helped raise £20,000 for The Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign. Late 2007 the boys were involved in ‘The Chesney Hawkes Xmas Cracker’ event raising £24,000 for The White Lodge Centre. Jamie & the first class have also performed to raise money for The Tsunami Appeal, Scope, Cancer Research, Comic Relief, Save the Children and many more. Jamie is also involved in charitable Schools tour encouraging young people to get involved in music which he does free of charge.
