An accomplished Indian Classical Sitar player, Sanjeeb Sircar has a music career of more than thirty years during which he has performed and taught music at many places in India , Europe and the USA .
Prominent among his teachers are Ustad Shujaat Khan of the Imdadkhani School (Gharana )and The Late Pandit Banwari Lal (1912-2003) of Allahabad of the Senia (School ) Gharana.
He also plays a number of different styles of music including Christian, Jazz and Fusion and instruments including the Guitar, Piano and Tabla.
He has experimented with many different forms of music on the sitar since more than twenty five years.
He also had the opportunity of studying Western Music – Piano, Guitar and Choir from his school days and later began playing professionally with a band.
He has played fusion music with many fine musicians in India and abroad and has made a mark for himself in the field.
