Hey there, we're The Merchant Princes!

We're based in Cork, Ireland and are a band forged from the hopes and ambitions of a group of like minded friends with very individualistic influences. The band that exists today was formed just after Christmas 2006 when Gar (Drums), introduced Mick (Bass) to Owen(Vox), George(Riffmaster) and Shane(rhythm guitar). Until then the band had been missing the cohesion needed to truly create the music we desired.

We like to think that our music has crunching rhythms and soulful melodies that compliment each other in a way that expresses what we're all about. Most of us are fairly new to the world of music, but the two experienced rocks of our rhythm Mick & Gar have helped us merge as a group.
