Navigating effortlessly through a dizzying array of styles, Konrad is an Amerikan song constructionist who puzzles together his unique brand of vocal poetics with a sorted sonic DNA that exhibits strains of indie, electro, folk, IDM and Hip Hop. In the past he’s recorded as an 8-bit obsessed electronic musician known a Robotusa, an emo indie rocker known as eggspout, and a folksy singer/songwriter called Nigel Jeffrey who cut an album called "Struggle in the Hive" with Patrick Stolley of daytrotter.com. Producing dozens of underground mix tape albums over the past decade, Konrad started his own label, radicalturf records in 2004 with the goal of releasing compilation albums from innovative electronic artists. Three US/UK/EU "various artists" releases later, Konrad's first "official" solo album is ready to drop August 19th 2008 on radicalturf. A new Konrad single can be heard on the current Magnet Magazine New Music Sampler volume 48 (issue NO. 78).
